This film, based on a book Lois Lowrys, tells the story of a perfect w & ecirc, world. Everyone here is happy. When Jonas is 12 years old, he was selected to the Receiver of Memories communitys be. He went into training with an old man known as the Giver. The Giver, Jonas learn about the pain, grief, war, and all the truth, which is not satisfied in the real w & ecirc, world. He soon realized that the community is false. Faced with reality, Jonas face difficult decisions about his own life and future.
